My 2017 Summer Adventure
Last summer I had the amazing experience to study abroad in the south of France. I stayed in this small ville named Cap D'ail, which was located between Nice and Monaco. Not only was it beautiful there, but this program gave me the chance to completely immerse myself in the French culture, clothing, and don't forget the food! Every week day morning I would spend in my French language class, but I would spend my afternoons typically doing activities, such as jet-skiing, zip lining, and rollerskating. Some days of the week I would spend my afternoons traveling to either Monaco, Nice, or another surrounding ville. I was having an amazing time while also getting the chance to learn the French language. One of best things about my summer was making so many connections with people from all over the world. My roommates were Spanish, German, and American, my classmates were Russian, Swiss, Italian, Irish, British, Turkish, Brazilian (the list goes on forever!), and my best friends were American and Portuguese! I am extremely thankful for all of the amazing people I met, and memories I'll have to last forever! Studying abroad has definitely changed my life, and I don't doubt that I will always have a little French girl in me!
The prettiest beach I've ever been to: Plage Mala, Cap D'ail. Beautiful both in pictures and even more in person.
The desserts were trΓ©s dΓ©licieux (very delicious)!
So thankful for the people I met this summer and for the memories I made. I cannot wait to spend another summer in France and also Portugal !!
One night, I went to the Stade Louis 2 in Monaco to watch an international track race. It was amazing getting a chance to watch some of the strongest and fastest people in the world. Usain Bolt even made an appearance to race one of his last times ever!
My love for Monaco only increased when I saw the Prince's Palace of Monaco.
My study abroad was the best month of my life, and if anyone is considering studying abroad I would greatly recommend it!
